After two years the Whatcom Council on Aging and programs, Meals on Wheels & More and the Bellingham Senior Activity Center are excited to announce the return of the Annual Whatcom Senior Day in the Park, a picnic with a purpose. This event is dedicated to connecting older adults and their children with local resources and businesses, and Hempler’s is proud to support it. We’ll be providing sausages for the barbecue and we would love to see you there.
You are officially invited to Senior Day in the Park, a picnic with a purpose. You’ll enjoy a resource fair, delicious BBQ lunch featuring Hempler’s hot dogs, live music, bocce ball, door prizes, and more! This year’s picnic will be held at beautiful, Hovander Homestead Park, in Ferndale on Wednesday, August 3rd from 10am-2pm.This year’s resource fair will feature over 50 local businesses and programs representing housing, education, recreation, and health.
