This recipe combines the crunchy goodness of tater tots with the rich flavor of Hempler’s bacon and cheddar cheese, topped with sour cream and green onions for a bite-sized treat that’s perfect for parties and gatherings.
Ingredients
1 bag of frozen tater tots
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
4 slices of Hempler's bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the tater tots package (usually around 425°F/220°C).
Grease a mini muffin tin and place three tater tots in each cup. Press down with a spoon or your thumb to create a nest.
Bake the tater tots for 10-15 minutes or until they start to turn golden brown and crisp up.
Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese on top of each tater tot nest.
Return the tray to the oven for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
Once the cheese is melted, remove the tray from the oven and let it cool for a minute or two for easy removal from the pan.
Carefully take out each tater tot bite and place it on a serving platter.
Top each bite with a dollop of sour cream, crumbled Hempler's bacon, and a sprinkle of green onions.
Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
