Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Makes: 8
Ingredients:
4 oz brick-style plain cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1 pkg refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 slices Hempler’s Center Cut Bacon, cooked and halved

Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, jalapeño, paprika and pepper until combined.
Separate dough into 8 triangles. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over base of each dough triangle. Top each with 2 halves of bacon; roll up starting from base to enclose filling. Place 2 inches apart on parchment paper–lined baking sheet.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until pastry is golden and bottoms are lightly browned. Let cool slightly before serving.
We love to serve these up with salsa, sour cream or guacamole, for dipping!
