REPORTS TO:

Shipping Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Hempler's is growing and we are adding new positions to our facility!

We are seeking a Shipping/Warehouse Associate for our 2nd shift

The Shipping/Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, fulfilling orders, and maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous Forklift experience, including high stacking

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication (written, spoken)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Receive and inspect incoming warehouse deliveries ensuring that all items are accurate, undamaged, and properly labeled
  • Organize, store, and manage inventory in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring safety standards are met
  • Assist in cycle counts and periodic inventory audits
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient order fulfillment
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues to the warehouse supervisor
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties
  • Maintain accurate inventory logs, and ensure organization of warehouse
  • Ensure cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping, and general upkeep
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to handle weighting items under 50lbs or may need to move objects safely and with proper body mechanics

PAY RANGE:

$18.00-$26.92
