POSITION: Line Worker

REPORTS TO:

Production Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Hempler Foods Group is seeking Line Workers for our growing facility

Line Workers are responsible for performing various manual tasks involved in the preparation, processing, packaging, and inspection of products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective collaboration with team members to meet production targets.

We are adding several new 1st and 2nd shift positions to our staff!

1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm

$18.00/hr to start with a $1.00/hr raise after 6 months

2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm

$18.00/hr to start with $1.00/hr shift differential and $1.00/hr raise after 6 months

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong work ethic and reliability
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Basic communication skills and self-motivation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent- preferred but not required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing.
Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks
Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met
Report any defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor
Record production data, such as product counts and weights if applicable
Communicate effectively with line leads, supervisors, and other team members about production or challenges

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively
Ability to stand for an entire shift
Ability to work withing a variety of temperature and conditions

PAY RANGE:

$18.00-$19.00/hr
