POSITION: Line Worker

REPORTS TO:

Line Lead or Production Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Hempler Foods Group is seeking Line Workers who are a vital member of the production team, responsible for performing various manual tasks involved in the preparation, processing, packaging, and inspection of products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective collaboration with team members to meet production targets.

Hempler Foods Group has several new positions we are adding to our group on both the day and 2nd shift!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong work ethic and reliability
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Basic communication skills and self-motivation

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Handle raw materials and perform tasks such as defrosting, hooking, hanging, racking, cutting, stuffing, weighing, scaling, labeling, boxing, and palletizing.
Move products between different temperature areas using carts or racks
Inspect product for quality and consistency, ensuring company standards are met
Report any defects or issues with materials, products, or equipment to the supervisor
Communicate effectively with line leads, supervisors, and other team members about production or challenges
Record production data, such as product counts and weights if applicable
Additional duties as assigned to specific work location in plant

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
Ability to ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
Comfortable working in various temperatures in the plant

PAY RANGE:

$18.00-$19.00/hr
