POSITION: Human Resources Coordinator

Human Resources Coordinator

REPORTS TO:

Human Resources Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Hempler Foods Group is growing, and we are adding a new position for bilingual Human Resources Coordinator!

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Min 1 year previous experience in an HR environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree is a plus)
  • Responsible for onboarding new hires and coordinating orientation schedules.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists in the full cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, phone screenings and scheduling onsite interviews.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks and coordinates new hire paperwork.
  • Responsible for onboarding new hires and coordinating orientation schedules.
  • Translate HR materials and communications to ensure clear understanding across a diverse workforce.
  • Assist in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deduction
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand,
  • Physical work includes climbing stairs, etc.
  • Ability to handle weighting items under 25lbs or may need to move objects safely and with proper body mechanics.

PAY RANGE:

$24.00-$30.00 per hour
