Kestin's Corner - We're more than a brand, we're a family.

Hempler’s has deep roots here in the Pacific Northwest, and we take a lot of pride in the quality of our products. Because of our commitment to only bring you the best, we’ve worked hard to build relationships with other local businesses in the region that are committed to the same.

Today we’re highlighting four local PNW businesses that we work with regularly to source our ingredients.

GloryBee Honey (Eugene, OR)

Family owned and operated since 1975, GloryBee Honey is committed to environmental sustainability and stewardship. They regularly provide funding toward research along with education on how to save the bee population, which is currently in serious danger.

We use GloryBee’s organic honey in all of our bone-in and boneless Holiday Hams.

Dick Bedlington Farms (Lynden, WA)

Dick Bedlington Farms is a third-generation family farm that spans over 1,000 acres near the northern border of Washington. We have worked with them for over 15 years to supply our potatoes for products like our seasonal potato sausage. All they do is potatoes – so we know that they’re the experts.

North American Seasonings (Kent, WA)

We partner with North American Seasonings to provide the spices we use to season our products. Not only do they provide high-quality products that help to flavor our meats perfectly, but their production facility is also certified organic by the USDA.

Schenk Packing Co. (Mount Vernon, WA)

Schenk is a supplier of natural beef who we have worked with closely for over ten years. Their grass-fed cattle have never been injected with or fed antibiotics or hormones, and their livestock are always treated humanely. In fact, they perform weekly inspections to ensure their animal care and handling standards are upheld and have a 3rd-party auditor evaluate their programs annually.

As a Pacific Northwest business ourselves, we love partnering with others in the region. Not only does it support our local economy and the members of our community, but the personal relationships we develop build a level of trust that the quality of the products we’re bringing to you is second to none. We remain committed to our customers, our employees, and our community – and we’re so thankful to have found local companies to partner with along the way.
